From Dreams to Destinations:

How Summit Turned My Love for Travel into a Way of Life

By: Reygen Acaba

Travel has always been more than just a hobby for me; it’s a passion that’s deeply rooted in my childhood memories. Growing up, my father, who was a forest ranger and land surveyor, made sure that adventure was a regular part of our lives. Whether it was a sun-soaked beach, a serene nature walk through a nearby forest reserve, or tagging along on his survey trips, our quarterly family outings were something I always looked forward to. Those journeys weren’t just trips—they were experiences that instilled in me a profound love for exploring the world.

When my father passed away, I made a promise to myself: I would carry on his legacy. I vowed that my future family would experience the same joy of discovery that he gave me. However, I had no idea how I would make that happen—until Summit came into my life.

For years, I believed that the only way to travel the world was to become a flight attendant. That dream led me to study tourism management, with visions of jet-setting around the globe. But life, as it often does, had other plans for me. It wasn’t until I began working as a virtual assistant with Summit that I realized my dream could take on a completely different form.

The revelation was simple yet profound: I didn’t need to be in the sky to see the world. All I needed was a strong Wi-Fi connection, a reliable laptop, and a bit of wanderlust. My role at Summit not only provided me with the flexibility to work from anywhere but also introduced me to a client who made the work feel effortless. The boundaries between work and travel blurred, and suddenly, I was living a life I had only dreamed of.

Since joining Summit, my family and I have explored six different countries, each journey adding a new chapter to our book of memories. From bustling cities to tranquil beaches, we’ve experienced the world together, one adventure at a time. These trips have not only expanded our horizons but also allowed us to secure a condo for investment, with plans to build our dream home.

As a young family of three, we’ve already come so far from where we started, and the future looks incredibly bright. There’s still so much more to see and do, but I know one thing for sure: Summit has been the key to unlocking a life of freedom, adventure, and endless possibilities.

The journey ahead is full of promise, and I can’t wait to see where it takes us next.

Here’s to many more adventures, both in work and in life!
