I have started working for Summit VA Solutions a couple years ago and I was fortunate enough to have
experienced firsthand and learned the different sides of what goes on in the company. First, working
within the company, and then on to have my own client – after 3 tries! ;). I have come to understand a
few of the values that Summit is trying to pass on.
Do your job and be the best at it!
What is great about this is, Summit VAS does not simply take you in and send you off to a client empty
handed. The training is a part of the package and is a big part of the work that will be handed to you. On
a personal standpoint, It requires your discipline and self-reliance. When with a client, the pace is a lot
faster, problems are more complex and solutions may sometimes come from unlikely places. But at the
end of the day, reaping the benefits of your hard work will be truly rewarding.
I rely on Summit VA Solutions for the better judgment and Integrity that is established to provide great
service to both VAs and clients. Luck may come into play for some who hits it off right away with their
clients. But for the things we can control, it will all come down to your willingness to explore your own
potential while sharpening your existing skill set.
Losing a client may be a hard thing to take in especially if you have done your best. However, honesty to
oneself is really important to understand and learn from in these circumstances. Pointing out the
problem and knowing where it went wrong will help you as a VA and the client as well. The client
already knows that he can be more productive when he hired you. They were provided with very
capable VAs and it is our responsibility to help make his work more efficient and most effective.
So they have to understand that: We do what we do because we are great at it!
“There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.”
